Police Scotland have launched an investigation after a man was attacked near a shopping park on Friday.

Officers were called to an assault on South Groathill Avenue, near Craigleith Retail Park, in Edinburgh at around 12.54am on November 8.

The incident was reported by a third party, and investigators are trying to track down the man involved.

Investigations into the assault are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were made aware of an assault on a man in South Groathill Avenue, Edinburgh at around 12.54pm on Friday 8 November 2024.

“The applications are at an early stage.”
