B’ham police at the scene of the life-threatening attack on Tuscaloosa Blvd.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham West Precinct officers are on the scene of an assault call in the 400 block of Tuscaloosa Avenue Southwest.

Police say the victim was taken to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

It happened around 8:50 a.m. at a vacant apartment complex, and police believe the victim was squatting there with others.

The victim got into an argument with an acquaintance, authorities said, and was either shot or stabbed.

No one is in custody at this time.

West Precinct officers are on the scene of an assaulted person call.
