November

JPII Christmas Bazaar

The John Paul II High School Christmas Bazaar will feature 150 vendors with holiday decor, gifts, jewelry, women’s clothing, food, children’s toys and clothing, beauty products, home decor and more. This event raises funds to support the school and students.

Lights on the farm

Attendees will stroll through the Heritage Farmstead, viewing more than 1 million unique holiday lights and items. Additional activities include meeting Santa, s’mores, donuts, hot cocoa, popcorn and more. Children under 2 are free.

7th Annual Plano Turkey Trot and Fun Run

The class is held at Oak Point Park and benefits The Source of Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides health, wellness, and health and wellness education to people in need.

December

Dickens Downtown Plano Arts District

This event will include a tree lighting, vendors, snow slide, coffee and cocoa ride, children’s entrepreneur market and other family-friendly activities. Downtown businesses will stay open late so guests can enjoy dining and shopping.

Breakfast with Santa Claus

This annual event features breakfast, holiday crafts, a visit from Santa and more. Call the Carpenter Park Recreation Center at 972-208-8087 to register.

Santa’s Sleigh Holiday Event at The Boardwalk

Local small businesses will participate in a holiday market from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. From 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., Santa will be at the Boardwalk at a photo booth with his elves creating balloon shapes. Attendees can enjoy upbeat holiday tunes spun by DJ Kiks throughout the event and see Frosty the Snowman stroll and dance along The Boardwalk. Other activities include a hot chocolate bar and a snowflake craft for kids. At 14:15, the Flamenco Passion dancers will perform a Christmas spirit dance from the Flamenco culture.

2024 Plano Holiday Parade

The Plano Holiday Parade is organized by the Rotary Clubs of Plano and is designed to spread holiday cheer to Plano neighbors.

Renaissance Hotel – Shake It Up: Mixology Masterclass

Participants will learn to create 2-3 cocktails from Renaissance master mixologists and take home a recipe book and gift.
