A fourth person died Wednesday night in a traffic accident in the Las Vegas Valley.

About 5:45 p.m., the driver of a sedan was pulling out of an alley on Hualapai Way, just north of Flamingo Road, when the driver of an SUV headed north on Hualapai collided with the sedan, causing the SUV to overturn, said Lt. Charles Jenkins. of the Metropolitan Police Department.

Both drivers were transported to University Medical Center. The driver of the SUV died from his injuries, while the driver of the sedan suffered serious injuries.

No other details were available.

Previous collisions killed a motorcyclist at about 6 am in the central valley, a female pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a semi truck in North Las Vegas and a elderly pedestrian crossing outside of a crosswalk was struck by a vehicle at West Desert Inn and South Fort Apache roads and later died.
