FORT WORTH, Texas – A man wanted for shooting a Texas police officer and urging a Blue alert was arrested in North Texas.

Seth Altman was arrested Friday in Fort Worth, according to online police records.

The circumstances of his capture were not immediately clear, but online records show police were investigating a report of a wanted person seen in the 1300 block of E Lancaster Avenue.

Altman was on Texas’ Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List after he was accused of shooting a police officer in Memphis, Texas on October 3.

Altman was booked into the Tarrant County Jail, but no arrest warrant photo was available.
