Beastars is getting a final season, and a new trailer for its first installment has plenty of reasons to make you tune in again.

It’s been three good years since the second season of Beastars ended, but the first part of the third and final season of Beastars is finally on its way. It will be released on December 5 Netflixstreaming service describe this last season: “It is a world where carnivores and herbivores coexist. The trailer, which you can check out above, also introduces us to some new characters. There’s Gosha, a “Komodo dragon who once aspired to become a Beastar… but abandoned that path after a certain incident,” who is voiced by Shigeru Chiba (Jujutsu Kaisen, One piece). He is friends with Yahya, a “horse and actual Beastar who believes in justice”, voiced by Shin-ichiro Miki (Dragon Ball Super). There’s also Melon, whose identity is a mystery, voiced by Koji Okino (My Hero Academia), Sagwan, a spotted seal living in Legoshi’s apartment building, voiced by Tessho Genda (Naruto), and Seven, a Merino sheep and Legoshi’s neighbor, voiced by Fumiko Orikasa (Whitening).

There’s no word on when the second and final installment will happen, but it’ll likely be sometime in 2025. Hopefully it won’t be too long of a wait, as Netflix hasn’t historically been great when it comes to its releases anime, so keep your fingers crossed for now.
