DISCUSSION:

As advertised, we did another run of upper 70s and low 80s for today. 80 degrees was our record today, which was set back in 1994 and tied in 2015, and not only did we break that record, today was also the warmest election day on record, breaking the record previously set on 4 November 2003 and November 2, 2004 where we had a high of 82.

The coldest was November 5, 1991, where we only had a high of 42.

The wettest would be November 7, 1995 at 1.62” of rain, and the snowiest was November 4, 1997 and again on November 2, 1999 where we had a trace of snow.

As we’ve done that throughout the week, we’ll see our highs start to drop. We’ll be nearing 70 for Thursday, Friday and Saturday and then 60 for Sunday and Monday. Even though it’s colder, it’s still above normal.

YOUR FIRST ALERT: CHANCE OF RAIN

Much needed rain chances will be in the forecast starting this evening. Most of us won’t see much until we go on Wednesday. That’s when rain chances begin to increase and will remain in the forecast for Thursday. We will take a break on Friday and then chances are it will pick up again on Friday night and into the weekend and even into next week.

Enjoy your evening!
