New York State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in connection with the Halfmoon burglary

CLIFTON PARK, NY — New York State Police have issued a request for public assistance in identifying a person wanted for questioning in connection with a recent burglary in Halfmoon. Authorities say the incident happened last month and are now looking for clues as to the individual’s identity.

The wanted person has distinctive tattoos that police hope will help identify them. According to officials, the person has a “518” tattoo on his right hand, as well as a large tattoo on the right side of his neck. Police believe the man was driving a black Mazda SUV at the time of the crime, although the vehicle’s registration remains unknown.

In a social media post on Tuesday, New York State Police released a picture of the man and asked for any information that could help with their investigation. “State police in Clifton Park are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured below,” officials said in the announcement.

Anyone with information about the person’s identity or whereabouts is encouraged to contact State Police at Clifton Park. Tipsters can call SP Clifton Park at 518-457-6811 or email information to [email protected].

Authorities have not released further details about the break-in, as the investigation remains ongoing.
