NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in the Warehouse District on Sunday (Nov. 3), according to the NOPD.

The shooting happened in the 700 block of Tchoupitoulas Street.

Officers responded to reports of gunshots at approximately 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim was approached outside by an unknown person who opened fire and immediately fled. Initial reports suggest the man was targeted.
