Asmongold claims the Twitch ban was the “biggest two weeks” of his life

Asmongold claims his recent Twitch ban was the “biggest two weeks” of his life and breaks down what he’s been doing in his spare time.

Content creator Ashmongold returned to the platform after being hit with a two-week ban following his comments made about the ongoing conflict in Palestine.

Just days after returning to streaming, Asmon sat down with Tectone and Emiru for another Steak and Eggs Podcast episode.

Immediately, Asmon got banned from Twitch and almost instantly stated that the two weeks he wasn’t allowed to stream on Twitch was extremely enjoyable and that he didn’t miss being away from the platform.

The thread starts at 1:20

He revealed that when he was first hit with Twitch’s ban, he was inundated with messages from his community and others who wanted to check in and make sure he stuck it out.

“When I got banned, everyone was messaging me. I hope you are well. I hope you are well,” Asmon began.

However, the content creator wasn’t shy about admitting that he enjoyed the time off and that he spent those two weeks “f**king around” and “partying” rather than insisting on his ban.

“Meanwhile, I’m sitting in my backyard on my phone, reading comments about myself, and watching random YouTube videos.”

He then claimed that this time off was “the greatest two weeks of (his) life” and that doing “nothing” was “the best part” of his time off.

When Tectone joked that he had to be banned so he couldn’t do anything, Asmon added that it was “great”.

After his Twitch ban, Asmongold apologized for his “racist” comments and has since revealed plans to completely turn his life around. He will start by cleaning the house and changing the content they focus on while streaming.

As for the state of his home, Asmon revealed on the podcast that he’s about halfway through the process, but still has a long way to go.
