Rain and thunderstorms brought an average of about .25″ to .50″ of rain to the Twin Cities Thursday night, along with some lightning and large explosions. Today the Weather will return to the Dry Conditions that have dominated this area since September.

Gusty winds will develop from the south on Sunday and Monday, and the combination of warm conditions, gusty winds, dry vegetation and low humidity will bring elevated fire conditions both Sunday and Monday afternoon.

The next chance for rain and storms is Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, then cooler conditions with rain Wednesday afternoon.

Right now Halloween starts with clouds and sprinkles, then becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with highs in the 50s, then clear skies in the evening with temperatures dropping from 50 degrees at 6pm to 44 degrees by 22:00. JONATHAN YUHAS
