Police remain at the scene of an overnight incident on Boucherie Road on Saturday morning.

Two RCMP vehicles remain parked in the driveways of 3212 and 3218 Boucherie Road and yellow police tape surrounds the front yard of 3218 Boucherie following what police described only as a “police incident.”

Boucherie Road was closed between Montigni and Sunnyside roads from about 11:45 p.m. Friday until about 4 a.m. Saturday while officers “examined the scene,” according to Sgt. Judith Bertrand of the Kelowna RCMP.

A vehicle was also set on fire in West Kelowna overnight north of Highway 97 near a mobile home park on Lenz Road. That fire happened around midnight shortly after the police incident on Boucherie, but police have not said if the two incidents are related.
