“Significant resources are needed to fight hunger and address nutritional insecurity, so the purpose of these dollars is to help food banks coordinate with local charities, schools, churches and shelters to support individuals and families who struggling to afford basic needs,” Brandi Price. , Atmos Energy vice president of public affairs said in the release. “As Atmos Energy continues to power safe and thriving communities, we are extremely proud to partner with the West Texas Food Bank and further their mission to collect, purchase and distribute food to feed the hungry in West Texas.”

Of the hundreds of food banks that Atmos Energy supports, the West Texas Food Bank will receive $48,000, which will provide a food pantry at Big Spring High School for three years.
