AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) – The Austin Police Department (APD) is appealing for information on an armed robbery suspect who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Around 7pm on Monday, APD responded to reports of an armed robbery at a business on 14th St. N.W.

The suspect was described as a male in his 20s, approximately 6′ 2″ with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a black Reebok hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and black shoes at the time of the robbery.

According to witnesses, the suspect displayed a gun and demanded money from the store clerk.

APD says the suspect was last seen running south on 14th St. NW with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

APD asks anyone with information regarding the case to contact the Austin Police Department at 507-437-9405.
