The third suspect faces a custodial homicide charge

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A third person accused of tampering with evidence in an East Side shooting death earlier this month is now in custody.

Daniel Ramsey, 42, who was arrested last week in New Castle, Pennsylvania, was returned to Youngstown on Wednesday and is now in the Mahoning County Jail. He is expected to be arraigned in municipal court on Wednesday.

Two other men, Richard Lightner, 40, and Shawn Jones, 35, are in jail on $150,000 bond after being arraigned last week. They are expected to have preliminary hearings Friday in municipal court.

The three were arrested for their roles in the October 18 death of 24-year-old Reynaldo Hernadez.

Hernandez was found around 6:50 a.m. at a cemetery on Wardle Avenue and Liberty Road. Police believe he was shot the night before at a home on Bott Street. Investigators have not yet said how Hernandez got to where he was found.

Three people are charged with murder in Hernandez’s death.

Andre Bailey, 40, was arraigned last week on a murder charge and is in jail on $1 million bail. He is expected to have a preliminary hearing Monday in municipal court.

Members of the US Marshals Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force are searching for Vincent Marbely, 59, and Eddie Winphrie, 41. They are also charged with murder in Hernandez’s death.
