The Lagos State Police Command has vowed to take legal action against organizers of a program for using the name and image of the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olarenwaju Ishola, on its flyers as a guest without his consent.

The command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known on Wednesday through a post he shared on X.

According to PPRO, the command was not involved in the named program; Global Property Conference.

“The command wishes to alert the general public that the command is not aware of a program labeled “Global Property Conference” whose leaflet bears the name and image of CP Ishola.

“The order hereby confirms that the flyer is the work of mischief-makers who intend to use CP’s name and image to lend legitimacy and approval to the said program.

“Members of the public are urged to disregard CP Ishola’s alleged connection to the programme.

“The command has initiated the necessary legal action against the organizers of the program,” he said.

According to the flyer, the program was scheduled to hold on November 9 at the Landmark Event Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.
