On his birthday, a 23-year-old Indian student shot himself in the US after accidentally firing his hunting rifle. Aryan Reddy was celebrating his birthday with his friends at his home in Atlanta, Georgia on November 13 when the incident took place.

According to the official, Reddy took out his hunting rifle to clean it; however, he inadvertently fired a round that hit him in the chest. His friends rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Reddy was a second year Master of Science student at Kansas State University. He was from Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana; however, his family currently lives in Uppal district.
