BRANFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – A Stamford man has been arrested on two counts of robbing a Branford spa and sexually and physically assaulting employees.

Terrell Meynard, 42, was arrested this morning by Branford police.

The arrest stems from a robbery that took place in September at the Healthy Spa on North Main Street.

Police were called to the spa at 8.40pm for a report of a robbery at knife point.

The victims told police that a suspect pulled a knife on them, physically and sexually assaulted one of the victims and demanded money.

During the investigation, one of the victims reported that while she was working alone in August, the same suspect entered the business, pulled a knife on her, physically and sexually assaulted her and demanded money.

Both investigations led to Meynard’s arrest.

He was charged with robbery, sexual assault and menacing.

Meynard has been incarcerated since October for a similar crime in Milford. He is currently being held on a $300,000 bond.
