STAFFORD – A 21-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with shoplifting from a local Best Buy, police said.

On Nov. 12, authorities arrested Samantha Capetillo of Egg Harbor Township for stealing about $280 worth of merchandise from Best Buy in Manahawkin — on two separate occasions within a month, police said.

Capetillo was transported to police headquarters, charged with two counts of shoplifting and released on a criminal complaint summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court.

All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
