DENMARK, SC (WRDW/WAGT) – A 42-year-old man has been charged with assault and battery, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

SLED says Quincy Lamar Grimes Sr., 42, was charged Monday with assault and battery in the first degree and exposure of private parts in a lewd and lascivious manner.

According to arrest warrants, on or about Oct. 13, Grimes inappropriately touched a minor.

Warrants state that during the incident, Grimes had his genitals visible.

The incident was also recorded on a cell phone, according to arrest warrants.

Grimes was booked into the Bamberg County Detention Center, according to SLED.
