Sean Combs, bodyguards accused of sexually abusing teen in new lawsuits

The hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was the subject of a fourth wave of sexual misconduct lawsuits filed late Tuesday by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee and his California co-attorney Andrew Van Arsdale, according to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone.

Five other anonymous accusers — three men and two women — allege they were drugged and sexually assaulted by Combs in incidents dating back to 2001 in New York and Miami. A woman claims she was 18 when she was drugged and forced to perform oral sex with Combs and his bodyguards in an SUV after attending a Halloween party at a Manhattan nightclub in 2001.

One of the new male accusers claims he was invited back to Combs’ Florida mansion for a party after meeting someone associated with Combs at a Miami nightclub in 2022. John Doe claims Combs gave him something to drink and led him to a bedroom where Combs allegedly “demanded” that two women perform “sexual dances” for a group of three men. The man claims he passed out and woke up naked when Combs sexually assaulted him.

Combs has denied the new allegations of sexual abuse through his representatives. “As his legal team has said before, Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process,” his press team said in a statement to Rolling Stone.

Combs, 55, is already the subject of more than two dozen lawsuits alleging predatory behavior ranging from sexual harassment to drugs and rape. He is also fighting a criminal prosecution and he was held in a federal prison in Brooklyn since his arrest on September 16. The Bad Boy Entertainment founder has pleaded not guilty to an indictment that accused him of racketeering and sex trafficking. His trial in the federal criminal case is scheduled to begin in May 2025.

All five new lawsuits were filed under New York’s Gender-Based Violence Victim Protection Act, which allows certain otherwise expired claims to be revived until March 1, 2025. All of the accusers used pseudonyms Doe — though some judges previously filed the civil claims v. Combs ruled that plaintiffs cannot proceed anonymously.

Two of the new accusers claim they were teenagers at the time of their alleged encounters with Combs. In the alleged 2001 Halloween incident, the woman says Combs and his entourage supplied her with drinks “throughout the party” before a security guard escorted her and two friends to a limousine where Combs and six members of his security team.

After being given a drink, the woman claims she began to feel dizzy and disoriented and that “Combs ordered her to perform oral sex on one of the security guards.” The woman claims that the guard fondled her breasts and assaulted her. “Drugged, scared and confined among numerous men, Plaintiff did as Combs and his security agents ordered,” the suit claims. “Combs called the women blasphemers while degradingly spraying them with champagne all over them as they engaged in these sexual acts against their will. Finally, Combs forced the complainant to perform oral sex with himself, which she did.”

In another claim, a model claims she was 17 when she was invited and escorted to a July 4th 2004 party hosted by Combs in the Hamptons. After taking a sip from a cocktail being circulated at the party, the woman claims she became disoriented and later woke up without her underwear. “She experienced throbbing pain in her vaginal and anal areas,” the lawsuit states. The woman claims Combs and two bodyguards threatened her, and at that point she “acknowledged that at least Combs sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious,” according to the lawsuit.

A second John Doe who sued Tuesday says he was also assaulted in 2022. The man says he was 39 when he attended a party at a “glamorous house in New York” hosted by Combs. The man claims he consumed alcohol that was provided to him by others at the party and passed out. “When plaintiff regained consciousness, he was in a dark bedroom with black walls, on a bed with black sheets,” the suit claims. “Everything around him was dark. The complainant was horrified to find Combs on top of him, sodomizing him.” The man claims he fought with Combs and fled the party.

A third man claims he was assaulted by Combs and an unknown man during an audition for an acting role in the music video in October 2001. John Doe claims he was drugged and restrained by Combs’ bodyguard because Combs would have attacked him. “Plaintiff recalls hearing several other people in the room laughing and talking and seeing what appeared to be camera flashes going off, but could not see anything directly at this time,” his lawsuit claims. The man claims he received medical and dental care for injuries sustained during the alleged attack.

The latest round of lawsuits from Buzbee follows an unnamed “prominent” celebrity sued the national prosecutor for extortion on monday. The anonymous man claimed he received a demand letter from Buzbee earlier this month with “completely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault” in an alleged attempt to force a private settlement. Buzbee vehemently denied it any wrongdoing, resorting to extortion “frivolous” charge.

“We expect to file weekly filings naming Mr. Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence and prepare the filings,” Buzbee added. a statement on Instagram on Tuesday.

Combs’ reps noted the celebrity John Doe lawsuit against Buzbee in their statement Tuesday. “The racketeering lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee exposes his barrage of lawsuits against Mr. Combs for what they are: shameless publicity stunts designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear that lies are being spread about them, as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs. “, they said.

Buzbee and Van Arsdale have filed 15 prior lawsuits against Combs in the last two months. They said at a press conference in late September that they plan to file complaints on his behalf over 120 verified customers.

Combs’ current legal troubles date back to November 2023, when his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed amazing trial for rape and sex trafficking. Combs denied Ventura’s claims and settled with her within 24 hours for an undisclosed amount. In her disturbing complaint, Ventura accused Combs of repeated physical violence, sex trafficking and rape. She said he forced her to participate in highly choreographed, drug-fueled sex with male sex workers while he masturbated and filmed the encounters.
