K-pop star Choi Soo-bin, also known as Soobin, of the boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT) will be taking a break from work due to his health, temporarily stopping all activities.

His management company, Bighit Music, announced on Tuesday (November 19) that due to the singer not feeling well and recently landing in the hospital, his doctors thought it best to take a break.

In a statement, the company said: “Soobin recently showed signs of illness and visited the hospital for medical attention. The medical staff said he would need plenty of time to rest and recover.”

They continued, “We prioritized Soobin’s recovery and had discussions with all members regarding future activities. Soobin himself is determined to continue his activities. However, we felt it would be better for him to focus on improving his health for now. being recommended by the medical staff.”

The company also said that as a result, “Soobin will be absent from the 2024 MAMA Awards, offline fan events in Japan, ACT : PROMISE Encore in Japan, the Shanghai fan signing event, and other year-end ceremonies and activities.” .
