The Desktop Client of Google Drive belongs to the few programs that have not previously been used under Windows on ARM. Jetzt gibt is eine erste Beta-Version, um Googles Cloudspeicherdienst auf ARM-Geräten zu nutzen.

In der Announcement (by Neowin) warns Google pflichtbewusst und obligatorisch davor, die Beta-Version mit produktiven Daten zu nutzen. Wohl wissend dass genau dies der Fall sein wird und man auch nur so zu echten Erkenntnissen kommen kann, wo eventually noch der Schuh rückt. Ein Backup kann aber ganz sicher nicht schaden.

The ARM64 version of Google Drive is available for Windows 11, if you need Microsoft WebView2, if you have Windows 11 to install the standard ones. Die Installationsroutine prüft diesen Umstand und weist darauf hin, sollte WebView2 nicht gefunden werden.

Functionally it is the ARM version of Google Drive with x86-Variante identisch, eichlich auf Outlook Meet Plugin musts verzichtet werden.
