$150,000 reward offered for information on Augusta postal worker robbery

AUGUSTA, Ga.The United States Postal Service is offering a massive reward to find two people accused of robbing an Augusta postal worker.

The US Postal Inspection Service has announced a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.

According to the agency, the robbery happened on Nov. 13 around 4:55 p.m. in the 3400 block of Jonathan Circle.

According to the Augusta Press that the 24-year-old mail carrier was on duty when a man wearing black and a mask ran up to him and grabbed his arm. Another man then allegedly shoved a gun into the postal carrier’s chest.

The two robbers stole some items from the postal carrier and fled the scene.
