A burglary was reported at a smoke shop in Grand Island

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – Grand Island police are looking at surveillance video to determine who broke into a smoke shop over the weekend.

Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the VIP Smoke Shop on South Locust Street around 2:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a broken front door and missing items.

Capt. Dean Elliott said a brick was likely used to break into the store, causing about $1,500 in damage. The suspect left with four boxes of THCA worth about $500, Elliott added.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
