Who Was Harris County Jane Doe? this week Missing in Houston highlights the seven-year mystery of the unidentified woman found under the bleachers at Bayland Park.

On June 17, 2017, the body of unidentified woman was discovered under the bleachers at Bayland Park in Houston. Known only as Harris County Jane Doethis woman remains unidentified more than seven years later, leaving behind unanswered questions about her life and the circumstances of her death.

The woman, estimated to be between 43 and 65 years old, had a recognizable face and was about 5′5″ tall, weighing only 96 pounds.

She had medium-length brown hair, brown eyes, and long nails with traces of turquoise nail polish.

At the time of her discovery, she was wearing a blue t-shirt, black wool shorts with pink skull and crossbones designs and an adult diaper. She was partially covered by a blue and green blanket.

BACKGROUND: Police believe the woman’s body was dumped in Bayland Park

Unique items found on her include a white metal ring with porpoise designs and a white metal watch with a pink plastic band.

Despite DNA and fingerprints being available at Harris County Institute of Forensic Scienceher identity remained a mystery.

The Harris County Medical Examiner ruled her death accidental, but little is known about the circumstances leading to her death.

Efforts to identify her have so far been unsuccessful, leaving her family — if they’re still looking for her — without closure.
