Wilmington officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Justison St. after receiving a call around 12:25 a.m. about a possible deceased person in the river, said David Karas, a police spokesman.

After officers pulled the body from the river, they turned it over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Sciences for further investigation and to confirm the identity, Karas said.
