Amigos For Kids event raises record funds for child abuse prevention
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of attendees and sponsors, Amigos Night raised critical funds to support Amigos For Kids programs.

Amigos For Kids hosted its much-anticipated annual fundraising event, Amigos Night, at The Hangar in Regatta Harbor on November 2, marking a resounding success and exceeding fundraising goals.

Hundreds of Miami’s top celebrities, media personalities, elected officials and influential business and civic leaders gathered for an unforgettable evening in support of a critical cause: preventing child abuse and neglect and providing essential support to children and families.

“We are overwhelmed by the support shown at Amigos Night,” said Karina Pavone, president and CEO of Amigos For Kids. “Thanks to our generous community, we can continue to fund transformative programs, from after-school enrichment to comprehensive family support, empowering families and strengthening our communities.”

Guests were treated to a culinary showcase of Miami’s best chefs and restaurants, complemented by an open bar with craft cocktails from Bacardi. The evening’s festivities included a stunning Black Carpet event, with Miami’s biggest stars and social elite showing their solidarity with Amigos For Kids. Notable attendees included Venezuelan actor and singer Gabriel Coronel, Telemundo host Gloria Ordaz, and award-winning journalist and Univision Primer Impacto co-host Pamela Silva, highlighting the significance of the cause.

The entertainment reached new heights when The Clique, the high-energy band from Miami, took the stage, keeping guests dancing the night away with their dynamic and lively Hora Loca show. The event also featured the ‘Domino Park’, a special area where domino enthusiasts and newcomers alike tested their skills, adding a touch of friendly competition to the evening.

“Amigos Night is more than a glamorous event – it’s a testament to our community’s dedication to making a difference,” said Maggie Fresen Zulueta, Amigos For Kids Board Chair. “Funds raised will have a profound impact on the lives of children and families in South Florida.”

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of attendees and sponsors, Amigos Night raised critical funds to support Amigos For Kids programs. Special recognition goes to major sponsors, including presenting sponsor Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, title sponsor Bacardi, and diamond sponsors Academica and Prestige Clinical Research. Platinum sponsors such as Greenberg Traurig, Intermedia Touch and Ford, along with gold sponsors including Banesco, Baptist Health, Goya, Larry Geller & Ingrid Hoffmann, Jorge Luis García, Ryder and Truist, have also been instrumental in turning the event into a success.

This unforgettable night exemplified the power of community to create a brighter and safer future for children in need.
