Kapil Sharma is currently hosting the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show.

Kapil Sharma has a segment in his comedy show called ‘Post ka post-mortem’ where he reads funny comments from his guests’ social media posts. However, Brahmastra actor Saurav Gurjar has now claimed that these comments are false.

In a recent interview, Gurjar recalled that Kapil made fun of him when Ranbir Kapoor gave his performance for the promotion of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. During the episode, Kapil showed a picture of Ranbir and Saurav and read some comments mocking the latter. Talking about the same, Saurav has now said that he doesn’t like Kapil’s jokes and claimed that the comments that the comedian read are also ‘fake’.

“We all think that all the comments that Kapil is reading in the picture are true and real… But it is not the case. It was a picture of me and Ranbir… He read the BM BABLU comment and made a joke about my personality, when I found out about it, I didn’t like it,” he said during YouTube podcast ‘The Rich’. .

“I went back to the picture to see the comment and couldn’t find it. When I called at that time, Kapil’s team started writing those comments, but one can see the time and date he did it. I didn’t like the whole thing and I use fake comments just for laughs,” the Brahmastra actor added.

Although Kapil Sharma has not reacted to Saurav’s claims so far, he is getting involved in several controversies these days. Recently, the Bongo Bhashi Mahasabha Foundation (BBMF) also served a legal notice to the makers of The Great Indian Kapil Show and accused them of being disrespectful to Tagore and the Bengali community.

The notice came after Krushna Abhishek was seen performing a skit on the iconic song, Ekla Cholo Re, which is penned by Tagore. During his comic act, he said ‘Pachla cholo re’ – to mean five people walking together instead of ‘ekla cholo re’. However, “Pachla” is not a word in the Bengali language.
