Colts at Jets overcome NFL Week 11 trolls

Divisional matchups in the NFL in Week 11 prompted some mean posts. But, a non-divisional one led the way.

The Indianapolis Colts came back to beat the New York Jets 28-27 at MetLife Stadium. The Colts were down 27-22 with 2:41 left in the game. Anthony Richardson capped a 6-play, 70-yard drive with a four-yard touchdown run.

The Jets had one last chance with 46 seconds left, but turned it over on downs, handing them their second straight loss. In his first start since Oct. 27, Richardson had 304 total yards and three touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers had 184 passing yards and two scores.

Victoria Indianapolis came up with more New York-themed trolls, including lines from Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”

Here are the best trolls from week 11.

AFC North games rarely disappoint, and the latest installment between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens is a prime example of why.

The Steelers had an eight-point lead with 3:35 left, and the Ravens responded with a nine-play, 69-yard drive for a touchdown. Baltimore chose to go for two, but failed the attempt with 1:06 left in the game. Pittsburgh then ran out the clock for their fifth straight win.

If the victory on the field wasn’t enough, the Steelers made sure to throw virtual punches — including a spin on the “SpongeBob SquarePants” scene with a sad violin.

The Minnesota Vikings took care of business on the road against the Tennessee Titans.

Sam Darnold threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns while Will Lewis had 295 yards passing plus a touchdown and an interception each. Justin Jefferson had six receptions for 81 yards, increasing his career total to 6,811 — the most by a player through the first 5 seasons in NFL history, according to ESPN Research.

Instead of trolling the Titans specifically, the Vikings opted to mock the entire AFC South.

A key NFC East battle resulted in a victory for the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night.

The Eagles put up 20 points in the fourth quarter to come back and hand the Washington Commanders their second straight loss. Saquon Barkley rushed for 146 yards — his sixth 100-yard game this season — plus two touchdowns. Jalen hurts threw for 221 yards and ran for a score.

Philadelphia trolled Washington with a mean caption and a “W” similar to their opponents’ logo.
