Roslyn residents walked in honor of victims of drunk driving on Saturday.

Friends of 14-year-olds Ethan Falkowitz and Drew Hassenbein organized the walk in their memories.

Roslyn’s rising tennis stars were killed in an alleged DWI crash last May.

Ethan’s father encouraged the crowd of his late son’s classmates to never forget their son and make the right choices.

He is advocating for a law in his son’s memory called the “Bereaved Families Act,” which would allow family members to seek compensation for the pain caused by the death of a loved one.

The bill is expected to be brought up again this legislative session.
