The latest Russian attack on Ukraine was a “massive combined attack” on “all regions,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president added that Russian “terrorists” used “about 120 missiles and 90 drones”.

The missiles – cruise, ballistic and air-ballistic – included “zirkons, Iskanders and daggers”, he said.

The drones included Iranian-designed Shaheds.

Ukrainian air defenses destroyed more than “140 aerial targets,” Zelenskyy said.

He commented on Telegram: “The enemy’s target was our energy infrastructure throughout Ukraine.

“Unfortunately, there is damage to objects due to impacts and falling debris.

“In Mykolaiv, following a drone attack, two people were killed and six others were injured, including two children.

“Condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.

“As of now, the areas are without power, (and) all necessary forces are involved in the elimination of the consequences and restoration.”

The president said Ukraine’s air defenses include anti-aircraft missile troops, “F-16 pilots” and “mobile fire groups.”
