Man suspected of throwing stones at the house allegedly hit another man News from Guam

A man allegedly threw stones at a house after demanding possessions from a man he knew and hit the other man as the man left through a side door.

David John Villagomez, aka “Poke,” was charged with misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor domestic violence in connection with a reported Nov. 11 incident in Mangilao.

According to a magistrate’s complaint filed in Guam Superior Court, Villagomez allegedly arrived at the home unannounced and demanded her belongings.

When the man at the register asked him to wait, Villagomez “got very angry and raised his voice.” The man then went to retrieve the items. Villagomez began throwing rocks at the home, and the man in the home decided to leave through a side door when he was later struck in the abdomen by a rock, the complaint states.

According to charging documents, Villagomez left shortly after the man told him he was not allowed to return.

Officers with the Guam Police Department did not observe any injuries when they arrived at the residence and inspected the area where the man was struck, the complaint states. The man replied, “I told you I was hurt.”

Police were quick to find Villagomez after receiving a description of him from the man at the home, according to court documents.
