Amaravati: A college student in Andhra Pradesh Palnadu district committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the university dormitory building following a small argument with a classmate over a pen.

The incident took place in Narsaraopet the city of Palnadu. J Anusha, a first year intermediate student of a private college, jumped from the fourth floor of the hostel building.

College authorities rushed her to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead by doctors. The girl had a fight with her classmate over a pen. She was upset after the incident.

After some time, she jumped off the building. Hailing from Vellatur village of Bollapalle mandal in the same district, Anusha used to stay in the college hostel. Police registered a case and started investigation. After receiving the information from the college management, Divisional Revenue Officer and Mandal Revenue Officer visited the college.
