A man faces a murder charge following a stabbing at a downtown apartment early Thursday.

Toronto police said officers responded to the stabbing call in Fort York Blvd. and Dan Leckie Way area near Bathurst St. and Lake Shore Blvd. W. around 12:45 p.m

Police say two men argued inside an apartment and stabbed each other.

Medics performed life-saving measures on both men and they were taken to hospital, police said.

Sadly, one man died from his injuries in hospital. The other man remains in hospital.

Police identified the victim as Sean Collins, 34, of Toronto.

Brian Kelneric, 33, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

Police said the accused appeared remotely in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Center on Friday.
