CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Christian County Crime Stoppers is asking the public for help in solving a burglary that resulted in the theft of many appliances.

Sometime in the past few days, one or more unknown persons entered a residence located at 1101 Birch Ave. from Pana. While inside, they took a set of kitchen cabinets, a stove, a washer and dryer. The unknown person or persons also entered the garage of the home and stole a cast iron stove.

A door was damaged as the suspects also entered the property. The total dollar amount of the theft and damage is unknown at this time.

Crime Stoppers reminds tipsters that they will pay cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. They will also pay double the normal reward for information leading to an arrest for the crime of the week.
