MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) – A traffic stop in Mt. Juliet led to the arrest of two Nashville men Friday afternoon, according to the Mt. Police Department. Juliet.

MJPD said they conducted a traffic stop for a window tint violation on I-40. After investigating the men in the vehicle, police located a 20-year-old man wanted out of Nashville for theft of a firearm.

The driver, a 19-year-old Nashville man, was also found in possession of a Glock with an illegal automatic switch, burglary tools and packages of marijuana for sale.

MJPD said the 20-year-old was also in illegal possession of a handgun.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
