Fox News host Pete Hegseth, a nominee to be secretary of defense, was once investigated for a sexual assault allegation. A police report obtained by Inside Edition says the alleged sexual assault took place in 2017. The woman who claims Hegseth victimized her didn’t go to the police until four days after she said she was assaulted. Police say they are keeping all other details of the investigation confidential. Hegseth’s attorney tells Inside Edition, “He has been cleared of any wrongdoing.”
