Syracuse, NY – A man defending himself in a Syracuse trial has admitted to raping a 12-year-old girl after questioning his victim during her hours of testimony.

Eugene Kimbrough, now 63, was due to defend himself on Friday after prosecutors presented the final evidence against him on Thursday.

Instead, he came to court and said that after hearing the evidence against him, including the testimony of his victim, he could no longer defend himself. He told the judge he would plead guilty to all seven charges he faced, including predatory sexual assault on a child and first-degree rape.
