Two arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Washington Court House convenience store

COURT OF WASHINGTON, OHIO – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects in connection with the October 20, 2024 armed robbery at the Flagway (Cruz Thru) store on N. North Street in Washington Court House. Crystal L. Myers, 26, of Washington Justice Court, was charged with aggravated robbery and theft, both felonies, for her alleged role in the incident.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, detectives obtained investigative leads that led to the execution of a search warrant at Myers’ residence on Hickory Lane on Wednesday. During the search, evidence believed to be related to merchandise taken from Flagway was recovered.

In addition to Myers, authorities also arrested Isaac J. Weigel, 29, who lives with Myers. Weigel was charged with obstructing official business during the investigation.

Both Myers and Weigel remain in custody at the Fayette County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, with additional assistance from the Fayette County District Attorney’s Office, and detectives indicate additional charges may be filed as they continue their efforts to gather evidence related to the case.
