BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – Bradenton police are asking anyone who witnessed or has information regarding a fatal crash to come forward.

Traffic homicide investigators are taking statements from witnesses regarding the Nov. 2 crash at Cortez Rd and 43rd St W. Anyone who witnessed the crash or was in the area in the moments before or after who has not already spoken to investigators, is asked to contact Officer Ian Emrich at [email protected].

Cesar Navarrete, 25, is currently charged with DUI homicide and driving while license suspended causing death or serious bodily injury.

The crash killed Sara-Danielle Holmes, a Bradenton mother who was on her way home from work.
