A man has been taken to hospital after being attacked and robbed in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the Lochdochart Road area following reports of a theft and assault at around 9pm on Thursday night.

A 44-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment following the attack.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, but an investigation is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 9pm on Thursday 14 November 2024 we were called to reports of a robbery and assault in the Lochdochart Road area of ​​Glasgow.

“A 44-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

“Requests are in progress.”
