Watch Drew Carey and model Alexis Gaube react to the contestant’s wild celebration

The price is right Model Alexis Gaube was stunned on the long-running show when a contestant celebrated her victory by busting out some wild dance moves.

As seen on Tuesday’s (November 12) episode, Gaube was surprised by a contestant named Danae who made her way from Contestant’s Row to the stage to play the Bonus Game.

Before accepting the challenge, host Drew Carey explained the rules of the Bonus Game, in which a contestant is shown four small prizes on a game board, one at a time, each labeled with the wrong price. The competitor must guess whether the actual price is higher or lower. For each item the contestant guesses correctly, they win the prize and increase their chances of landing on the “Bonus” prize window on the game board.

Danae’s bonus prize was a trip to Maine valued at over $7,000. The four smaller prizes he had to guess were a yogurt maker, an insulated Yeti lunch bag, a compost bin, and dental floss.

Danae started with an incorrect guess about the yogurt maker, but made up for it by correctly nailing the Yeti lunch bag. “Okay, so I’m going to Maine now?” she joked after getting her first answer right.

“If the bonus is here, you do it. We don’t know until the end; we’re going to surprise you,” Carey replied.

Danae continued her winning ways, correctly guessing lower on the compost bin and higher on the water line. This gave him three chances to reveal the BONUS window.

In the end, her gut was right as the BONUS sign lit up behind the glass of the Yeti lunch bag, meaning Danae won her trip to Maine. He soon started dancing to celebrate his victory.

“Go there,” Carey told her, pointing her to the signs that showed Maine as her prize. Danae made her way over to where Gaube was standing and began shaking her route for the audience. Gaube looked stunned as he clapped his hands and then started laughing.

Gaube joined The price is right in 2021 after a stint on the ABC game show Sharks cardhosted by Joel McHale. He also appeared briefly on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Gaube is one of the four female models ICTR with Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster and Manuela Arbelaez.
