NEW YORK – MMA Junkie is on the scene reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 309 fighter weigh-ins, which begin at 9:00 a.m. ET (6:00 p.m. PT).

Early weigh-ins take place at the UFC host hotel in New York and pre ceremonial weigh-ins for fanswhich take place at 5 pm ET at The Theater at MSG. The attached Madison Square Garden hosts Saturday’s event (pay-per-view, ESPNews/Hulu/FX, ESPN+).

Among those weighing in are heavyweight champions Jon Jones (27-1 MMA, 21-1 UFC) and former champion Stipe Miocic (20-4 MMA, 14-4 UFC), who meet in the main event. In addition, former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira (34-10 MMA, 22-10 UFC) takes over Michael Chandler (23-8 MMA, 2-3 UFC) in co-op.
