  • Kanye West’s ex-Yeezy employee, Murphy Aficionado, has filed a lawsuit against him, with 12 causes of action and a demand for a jury trial

  • The enthusiast claims he suffered “wrongful termination” and was not compensated for his work

  • During his time with West, Aficionado claims the rapper made discriminatory statements about the Jewish and Filipino communities and “ordered” Aficionado to stay nearby while West engaged in sexual activity.

Kanye WestFormer Yeezy employee Murphy Aficionado is suing the rapper (who legally changed his name to Ye) and his companies, Yeezy LLC and Donda Academy.

He filed 12 complaints against West, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation; and also demands a jury trial.

In the complaint obtained by PEOPLE, Aficionado — who worked as a project manager for West Yeezy’s company for nine months — claimed he suffered “wrongful termination” and was not compensated for his work.

A representative for West did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

He claimed West would make anti-Semitic comments, including “Jews got (ex-wife) Kim (Kardashian) and my children.” West allegedly made discriminatory comments about Aficionado’s Filipino ancestry and told him to remove his “ugly” traditional Filipino tattoos called “Batok.”

West also allegedly asked Aficionado to come to his hotel room, where he engaged in sexual activity with his then-girlfriend, Bianca Censori.

The enthusiast claims he started working for West in October 2022, worked 50-70 hours each week “and on several occasions even slept at his desk,” according to the filing. Then, in February 2023, West allegedly instructed Aficionado “to move his (West’s) school, Donda Academy.” The complaint states that Aficionado informed him of the required building permits, but West “became angry and yelled that he would not agree to wait or use. permits.”

In July 2023, a representative of Donda Academy claimed that the school “will no longer be in operation.” Shortly after, Aficionado claims that Yeezy’s assignments “were revoked and he was no longer welcome in the offices.”

As a result of the termination, the lawsuit alleges that Aficionado suffered economic damages, non-economic damages, punitive damages, malice, oppression, fraud, attorneys’ fees and exhaustion of administrative remedies.

Additionally, “Defendants violated these laws by failing to promptly provide Plaintiff’s last paycheck and pay penalties, including back wages, interest and fees.”

The enthusiast claims that “almost immediately” upon hiring, West “began to make his prideful bigotry and anti-Semitism well known” and “preached this dogma almost daily.”

He “frequently made disparaging remarks about the Jewish people: ‘The Jews are out to get me. They froze my bank account. The Jews got Kim (Kardashian) and my kids.” West allegedly “responded aggressively” telling her: “The Jews convinced Kim (Kardashian). She has Jewish owners.”

The rapper also made comments about Aficionado’s Filipino tradition. West “pointed at (the fan’s) tattoos, telling him they were ugly and should be removed.”

The fan also claims that in November 2022, he was “summoned” for a “working meeting” in West’s room at the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria. Once he arrived, “it was immediately apparent to Aficionado that Censori and Ye had been having sex very recently.” West then ordered Aficionado to enter and sit in the hotel room.

Censori tried to close the door to the adjoining bedroom, but Aficionado claims that “You reopened the closed door fully exposing Censori’s bare breasts.” Next, West is said to have “asked Aficionado what he thought of Candace Owens’ lawyer who had just left. Ye added, “I think he’s a Jewish spy.”

The complaint continues: “Suddenly and without warning, in the middle of their conversation, Ye rushed to the room where Censori was. As he left Aficionado, Ye ordered him, “Wait right here. DO NOT leave”. West then went into the adjoining bedroom and the couple allegedly had sex.

Ten minutes later, West joined Aficionado, allegedly wearing a swastika T-shirt. He asked Passionate, “Don’t you like my shirt? Intimidated and worried about his job, Aficionado claims he replied, “It’s definitely unique…”

“Then, randomly and unsolicited, Ye sat down with Aficionado, showing her nude photos of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian on her phone.”

Later that week, Aficionado says he was asked to return to West’s room. During that meeting, he claims West and “a famous NFL wide receiver” were in towels waiting for massages. The hottie reportedly offered to leave, but West “ordered” him to wait in the room.

The complaint alleges that West then “had sex” with his masseuse. When West returned, “the NFL wide receiver came in for his ‘massage’.”

“The fan did his best to focus on his work discussion with Ye, but remained extremely uncomfortable, especially when the NFL receiver could be heard in the background,” the filing states.
