Star Wars embrace the dark side with the release of a premium Darth Vader action figure.

The latest collaboration between Lucasfilm and action figure makers Sideshow is part of the latter’s Mythos line of toys, a range of art styles based on pop culture’s most iconic characters.

This new 30-inch Darth Vader figure depicts the Sith Lord standing on the wreckage of a downed Rebel X-Wing engine, his glowing red lightsaber in hand.

The intricate design work introduces tatters to Vader’s suit as well as battlefield burns as he prepares for an attack by the Rebel Alliance.

Vader is reproduced in quarter scale with a fully sculpted helmet, as fans would recognize. George Lucas films and more recently The Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series. It is not clear yet whether Vader will appear or not a new film trilogy recently announced.

As part of Sideshow’s Mythos line, Vader comes with multiple light-ups for his chest box, lightsaber, and belt box.

Lucasfilm and Hasbro recently teamed up a life-size replica of Vader’s famous red swordwith light elements and removable Kyber crystal.

The Darth Vader Lightsaber Lamp is another fun addition to either Star Wars fan merchandise collection. It will illuminate any room with the menacing red glow of the Sith.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker saga is streaming Disney+ and also available for purchase DVD, Blu-ray and 4K.
