SEATTLE – Seattle Police looking for the people responsible for a burglary at a business in the Crown Hill neighborhood.

The crime was surprised by the camerashowing two burglars targeting a small business early Wednesday morning.

It happened at the Wild Mountain Café, located on Northwest 85th Street near 14th Avenue Northwest, just before 2:30 in the morning.

“You feel helpless,” co-owner Kevin Aylesworth said. — Not even the loud alarm stopped them.

Surveillance cameras captured two thieves moving through the various rooms of the business.

“My wife got an alert,” Aylesworth said. “All we could do was watch.”

Despite calls to 911, the thieves were able to get away with $5,000 worth of tips.

“The police missed him by a few minutes,” Aylesworth said. – They arrived just as the burglars left.

Despite the theft, Wild Mountain Café doesn’t let the theft stop them from serving the community.

“We love what we do,” Aylesworth said. “Even though it’s hard, we have to keep going.”

A community fundraising was established to help Wild Mountain Café recover from the break-in.
