A Penn Yan man is facing charges after turning himself in to police following a theft complaint.

Tyler D. Spoor, 33, was charged with stealing an item from a local business on Nov. 5. After the complaint was filed, Spoor turned himself in to Penn Yan police on Nov. 9.

Spoor was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
