The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying four people wanted in connection with an alleged aggravated harassment/hate crime incident that occurred in downtown Brooklyn last month.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, October 19, at approximately 10 p.m., a 29-year-old male victim and a 29-year-old female victim were walking near 445 Albee Market when four unidentified individuals approached. and allegedly threw whipped cream over the pair while making anti-Asian comments.

The four unidentified people then fled on foot in an unknown direction, according to a statement from the NYPD’s deputy commissioner for public information.

No injuries were reported in the incident and the investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force, police said.

The NYPD has released surveillance images of the wanted men.
