CLOVIS, NM (KFDA) – Clovis Police say four teenagers have been charged in the murder of shooting of a man late Wednesday afternoon.

In a news release Thursday afternoon, Clovis police identified the teenagers as:

• Gustavo Hererra Jr., 15 years old.
• Jacob Garcia, 16 years old
• Diego Corona, 16 years old
• Jacob Lavato, 16 years old

right News from Eastern New Mexicoteenagers have been charged with murder in the shooting death of 26-year-old Marcos Ramirez in the Hilltop Shopping Center parking lot.

Citing court documents, Eastern New Mexico News reports that Ramirez met with the teenagers Wednesday night to sell them a gun. One of the boys shot Ramirez.

The Eastern New Mexico News reports that Ramirez died at Plains Regional Medical Center.

The newspaper says another person who was with Ramirez shot the teenagers.

Police say Garcia and Corona were wounded in the shooting. They were taken to a Clovis hospital, then transferred to Lubbock for treatment.

Hererra Jr., Garcia and Lavato were arrested. An arrest warrant has been issued for Corona.

All four teenagers are charged with murder, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Hererra Jr. also faces a charge of tampering with evidence.
